International Primary School Groningen offers a range of partner programs and after-school options designed to support families and give pupils opportunities to explore new interests in a safe, familiar environment.

Afterschool care - Kids International by SKSG

Our main after-school care partner (“BSO”) is Kids International, run by SKSG, conveniently located in Building B on the IPSG premises. Children are collected directly from their classrooms at 15:00 (or 12:30 on Wednesdays) and can stay until 18:00.

Once you fill out the registration form, a planner from BSO will reach out to let you know about the waitlist or availability.

Other afterschool care providers

While many families choose Kids International, there are also several trusted providers used by our school community:

Afterschool activities and clubs

In addition to formal care, IPSG hosts a rotating selection of afterschool clubs each term. Past offerings have included Yoga, Dutch language club, violin lessons, and arts and crafts.

These activities are based on interest and availability and are open to all pupils. If you're a parent with a passion or skill you'd like to share, we welcome you to lead a club! Please contact the Team Leader to explore how you can get involved.

International School Groningen for secondary education

Our school is part of the International Campus initiative, meaning that we share our beautiful green grounds with the nearby International School Groningen (ISG) for secondary school students (11-18). This is an ideal solution for families with children of Primary and Secondary ages, who can therefore enjoy this convenient location.
